I’m a dad of two from New Zealand, lifelong gamer, and the person behind Dad Gaming Reviews.
I started this website because I was tired of reading gaming guides that felt like they were written by people who had barely played the game. Too many articles repeat the same information without actually helping you play better.
Every guide and review on this site is written from my own experience. If I’m recommending a strategy, it’s because I’ve used it myself. If I’m reviewing a game, I’ve spent enough time with it to know what works, what doesn’t, and whether it’s actually worth your time.
Why “Dad Gaming”?
Life changes when you become a parent.
Gaming sessions become shorter, interruptions become normal, and you don’t always have hours every day to sink into a game.
That doesn’t mean gaming has to stop, just that your gaming changes.
Dad Gaming Reviews focuses on helping busy people make the most of the time they do have. Whether you’ve got twenty minutes after work or a couple of hours once the kids are asleep, I want you to spend more time enjoying games and less time searching for answers.

My Approach
Whenever I write an article, I try to answer one question:
“Would this have genuinely helped me when I first played this game?”
If the answer is yes, it gets published.
If it’s just repeating what everyone else has already said, it doesn’t.
